Bobwhite and Blue Quail
Bobwhite and Blue Quail are our specialty. Hunting is done either from vehicles or by walking behind some of the better pointing dogs in the United States. These hunts are priced by the day. Three day package hunts are available which include everything except the hunting license, shotgun and personal gear. The Comancheria area is very large, and bird population cannot be predicted. So hunting areas vary from year to year based on where the bird population is best. Accommodations will be made in bed and breakfast and motels near these hunting locations.

Upland Birds
Hunts include prairie chicken, sharp-tail grouse, sage grouse, pheasant and Hungarian partridge. We travel to northern states to hunt these birds. While Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota are used primarily to hunt pheasant. Hunting will be from vehicles or walk-up style, behind the same exceptional pointing dogs used to hunt quail.

Waterfowl
Geese, ducks and sandhill crane winter in the Comancheria. Thousands upon thousands of waterfowl traverse the Comancheria skies. Skein after skein of all species crowds the horizons on any given day from early October through March. Hunting will be from well camouflaged blinds while calling and using decoys. The majority of hunting is on dry land grain fields but wet weather gear is advised even to hunt these dry land fields.
